    MANILA, Philippines — Bacoor continued to sizzle at home, rising to the solo second place in the 2024 Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association (MPVA) after a 25-10, 25-14, 25-19 rout of winless WCC Marikina on Monday night at Bacoor Strike Gym in Cavite.

    Cyrille Alemeniana sustained her fine form in their second game in a row, the way once again with 13 points, firing 11 spikes and two aces to get the job done in just 67 minutes.

    Winnie Bedania and Daizerlyn Joyce Uy also stepped up for the Strikers with 11 points each, while Jemalyn Menor added eight points.

    Marikina remained winless in 14 games with Bien Juanillo being the lone bright spot with 11 points.

    Meanwhile, Quezon continued to dominate the league with a 25-19, 25-14, 25-19 sweep of San Juan.

    Mary Grace Borromeo, once again, imposed her will at the frontline with 14 points, while wing spikers Rhea Mae Densing and Mycah Go added nine points each.

    Also-ran Valenzuela bounced back from a straight-set loss to Bacoor last Sunday with a 25-21, 8-25, 25-20, 25-14 triumph over ICC.

    Abegail Nuval and Lilet Mabbayad connived with 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Classy. Souzan Raslan and Sheeka Gin Espinosa had nine points each for an improved 3-11 card at No. 7.
